Hi, I'm Candice I'm a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. I offer skilled & compassionate evidenced based therapy services centred around increasing your sense of agency, awareness & autonomy. I am a specialist in Relational Trauma and am most skilled in supporting individuals who have experienced childhood trauma and PTSD. I am also skilled and experienced in supporting everyday challenges to complex and enduring difficulties. My therapeutic approach is directed towards developing your confidence to fulfil your potential and to facilitate your ability to accept or change and adapt.
In addition to working in private practice, I have 10yrs NHS experience and have worked in secure forensic mental health settings. While my special interest is in the Trauma Informed approach and trauma research; I have worked with a broad range of psychological issues such as Depression, Agoraphobia and Self Harm.
I feel strongly that at the heart of our therapeutic dynamic will be trust, safety, compassion and transparency.
