As a therapist working with children, I offer calm from the storm they may be feeling. With my years of knowledge and experience I am able to provide the space for your child to work through those challenging emotions and life events. Children don't always have the words they need to communicate how they are feeling, this is why play therapy is a powerful tool to help children to express their emotions non-verbally, if they prefer. My background in working therapeutically with children who are looked after and schools, means I have the knowledge and skills to help alleviate these difficult emotions and behaviours.
Play Therapy is a therapeutic intervention aimed at supporting children aged between 3-13 years old to help them to process life events and manage their emotions. Play therapy uses a range of creative mediums such as art, sand, movement, music and more to help children to express and communicate their feelings though play.
I offer a wide range of knowledge and experience and I am accepting new clients. As a parent you may be struggling with knowing how best to support your child. Knowing they have a safe and trusting space to work through what may be happening in their inner world may help you all as a family and reduce the pressure on you as a parent.
