I am a specialist women’s therapist, working with anxiety, panic, overwhelm, social anxiety, agoraphobia, constant worry, overthinking, insomnia, low self-esteem, people pleasing, boundary issues, difficult childhood experiences. I’m equally comfortable working alongside or outside of mental health diagnoses and labels. I always work to your pace and comfort levels, and offer skills to help clients feel calmer, more confident, grounded, in control. We can work together to uncover how past events may have lead to your current issues, or alternatively focus solely on addressing current experiences. Or both. It’s always your choice.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, sensitive and flexible - using person-centered, CBT, somatic CBT, mindfulness, somatic approaches to help you ground, explore, question, build a new relationship with yourself and others, heal and grow. I offer 1, 1.5 and 2 hr sessions, book as you go and crisis sessions for sudden anxiety, shock, panic, overwhelm.
I provide a calm, safe, non-judgmental, trauma-sensitive space that recognises your humanity and individuality. A mindful alternative to the harsh sterile environments, institutions and structures we often find ourselves in - particularly at times of personal difficulty. In our work together we will consider the whole of you - mind, body and spirit.
