Hello, my name is Bud. I am a fully qualified counsellor, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Thank you for viewing my profile. It's really brave to take the first step in seeking support and finding the right counsellor for you. Life can be really challenging at times, and it may leave us feeling overwhelmed or hopeless. What ever brings you to counselling at this time I will be with you.
I see individuals for counselling in a private room in Emsworth at The Apollo Practice, which is near the train station, and with plenty of free parking nearby.
My theoretical approach is Humanistic, and the personal qualities I bring are warmth, acceptance, compassion, and a non-judgmental personal respectful for each individual.
I have considerable experience working with individuals facing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, lack of confidence, difficulties at work, neurodivergence related issues and LGBTQIA+ challenges. In addition to my private practice, I work part-time as Counselling Lead at a mental health charity.
