About
Hi, my name is Julie and I am a person-centred counsellor Whether you are suffering from anxiety, nerves or depression, trauma or abuse, I can help you look at these issues. You may have an important life decision to make, that you need to find the answers for. I offer a compassionate, confidential and empathic approach whether working with adults, children and all genders and sexualities facilitating you in making positive life changes. As a person-centred therapist, I work alongside you as my client, going at your pace, whilst gaining an empathic and authentic understanding of your life.
Rooted within the theory of the person-centred approach, I work gently alongside my clients, walking gently at their pace whilst gaining an empathic and authentic understanding of their life. I aim to work in a mindful manner, looking after the well-being of my client at all times, facilitating the client in coming to their own conclusions.
I work in both a confidential and ethical way both for the safety of my clients and myself, I make use of regular supervision and working within the guidelines of the NCP ethical framework. I am a firm believer in ongoing training and I have successfully completed a BA (hons) degree in Person-centred Counselling and I hold a clean DBS certificate.
