Brighter Futures offers trauma-informed therapy for adopted and looked-after children, families, and adults who have experienced trauma to help reduce the surprising and frightening range of symptoms it causes. We support children who have experienced developmental and early life trauma, as well as their families and the organisations around them. Our therapists have personal experience caring for looked after children and children with neurodiversities, so we know how challenging it can be. We support adults who have grown up after childhood trauma, and those who have experienced intimate-partner or sexual violence.
Our treatment is trauma-informed and relationship-led, and in the free initial consultation, we decide together what it should look like for you. We incline towards Integrative Psychotherapy because it is tailored to your individual needs and personal situation; and we also offer DDP, CBT, DBT, NVR, TF-CBT, and psychodynamic-informed therapy.
We believe that the dark events of an individual’s life should not be allowed to sabotage their future; excellent psychotherapy can support individuals to overcome their trauma and achieve brighter futures.
