I support children and young people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, school distress, emotional regulation difficulties, or low self-esteem. Many of the families I work with have neurodivergent children, including those who are autistic or ADHD, who may feel misunderstood or unsupported. Parents often reach out when their child is masking, avoiding school, experiencing meltdowns, struggling with big emotions or day to day life. I offer a safe, understanding space where children can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build confidence, while also supporting parents with practical guidance.
I offer child-centred, neurodivergent-affirming Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tailored to each child’s needs. Sessions may include creative and play-based approaches, emotional regulation support, and strategies for managing anxiety, depression and more. I also support parents with practical guidance to better understand and support their child.
If your child is struggling and you’re feeling unsure where to turn, you’re not alone. Seeking support can feel like a big step, but it can also be the beginning of positive change. I aim to create a warm, understanding space where both children and parents feel heard and supported. When you’re ready, I welcome you to reach out.
