I am an experienced professional counsellor, with a Masters degree in psychology and I am an Accredited BACP counsellor. Counselling can help bring positivity and enjoyment to situations which may currently feel negative and depressing. Counselling can help a person to clarify their own emotional thoughts and processes around troubling situations, then use that clarity to improve their emotional situation. I have extensive experience with assisting clients with gambling problems, which is often realised to be a habit problem which has opportunity for change to a beneficial lifestyle.
I help gamblers, and others, to help themselves.
I have worked extensively with clients, who have had a wide variety of issues. I have extensive experience of counselling with problem gamblers and people who have difficulties. I work in an integrative counselling method, incorporating various counselling methods into the counselling process that are useful and productively beneficial to the client.
I consider that everybody has strengths and weaknesses, they have preferences and dislikes. Encouraging a person to live and build their strengths, whilst acknowledging, understanding and accepting their dislikes is often a progress in life. I have lived and worked in many varied locations worldwide for much of my life, thus I understand expatriate life.
