Breathe is a counselling and wellbeing space in the heart of Cardiff, offering counselling services, CBT, therapies & mental health workplace training - created by the Mental Health Charity Gofal. Our qualified counsellors specialise in a range of approaches and all are registered with either BACP or UKCP. All profits are reinvested into Gofal to support mental health and community projects.

We all have times when life gets on top of us, for whatever reason. Breathe counsellors work with several approaches helping you find ways to move towards a positive mental health recovery. We have a large team of professional counsellors, training programmes to create healthier workplaces, classes and therapies to improve wellbeing including mindfulness.

We are open five days a week, and until 8pm on weeknights. The first step is to complete and return a referral form. From this we will invite you in for an assessment with our Lead Counsellor. At the assessment we’ll talk if counselling is appropriate, the number of recommended sessions and we’ll link you with a counsellor - best suited to your needs.
