About
I'm an experienced & qualified Person-Centred Experiential therapist with a MSc degree in this approach. I've completed further training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) & integrate EFT into my approach. Therefore my ideal client is someone who wants to 'work through' & process/transform their feelings/emotions as a way to improve their emotional functioning & emotional well-being. I'm also an Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapist & offer Couple Therapy to couples in distressed relationships who want to reconnect with each other and achieve a loving relationship which meets each partner's needs and achieves a safe haven.
I offer a person-centred approach. I will provide a caring, compassionate therapeutic service which is genuine, accepting and empathic. In-addition to these relational attitudes I offer clients 'therapeutic tasks' from EFT (e.g. Focusing, Empty Chair-work and Two-Chair work). These 'tasks' allow emotion to be accessed/expressed & processed to resolution.
