Everybody faces struggles, but nobody's struggles are the same. And everybody, at some time, needs help (although it can be so hard to ask for it). My work as a psychologist has been with many different people facing a wide range of challenges. My role has been to work with them and empower them to make the changes they need to live a life that is more meaningful to them. Is it easy? In my experience, it is not. Making change is scary, tough and brave. You may not believe you are capable of this. But the fact that you are reading this suggests that you are getting ready to try. This is where I, as a Clinical Psychologist, can help.
Therapeutic skills I have developed working with adults, children and families provide people with the tools needed to better understand and manage themselves and relationships. I am part of a socially conscious organisation, hemotion (www.hemotion-uk.com), where we reinvest our profits into projects supporting the psychological well being of men and boys.
My direct and compassionate nature helps people of all ages feel safe enough to talk about the tough stuff with me. My work with children has taught me how to get to the heart of the difficulties using playful and effective approaches that lets them feel heard, understood and supported. It turns out adults need this too and I would be happy to hear from you.
