My work is grounded in a psychoanalytic approach, focusing on understanding early life experiences and their influences on a person's underlying emotional conflicts, unconscious process and personality and development. This approach emphasizes self-reflection over immediate solutions, allowing deeper emotional patterns to surface and paving the way for meaningful and lasting personal growth.
I have a private practice in London, and I'm an Honorary Psychodynamic Psychotherapist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation (SLAM). As well as a clinician, I'm an Associate Professor in Sociology in Health and Sport.
I offer both fixed-term and open-ended psychotherapy which may involve more than one session per week. Sessions last for 50 minutes. My standard fee is £50 per session. I reserve a number of places for lower fee paying clients who may be students or unwaged.
I have other related academic qualifications including PhD, MPhil, Master of Cultural Studies, PGDip Global Health, BEd (Hons), and Level 5 ILM Coaching and Mentoring Certification.
