I am a senior accredited integrative Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. I use my experience to help my clients expand and improve their emotional skills. I have spent several years working with addiction, especially food addiction, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and eating disorders. I have worked with dual diagnosis clients in both addiction and other mental health organisations. I am committed to providing counselling with the most up-to-date techniques to build a healing and therapeutic relationship with clients. More recently my client group has covered stress, anxiety, trauma and loss.
Seeking therapy can be a complex journey, requiring both commitment and emotional investment. I believe that within a safe and empowering relationship we all have the capacity to become agents of change. I work people in all stages of transition and at critical turning points. My task is to explore diversity of experience with empathy and without judgement.
At our first session I will gathers information to tailor the therapy to meet your needs. It is an opportunity for us both to ensure we can work together. I often set goals and we can decide on how many sessions will be appropriate. I tend to see people once a week in six week increments. Sessions last for 50 minutes.
