About
I have lived in different countries which helps me to understand diverse cultures. I have worked in pastoral care for over twenty years and I provided relationship training to young people in our local schools. I provide a safe place where you can completely be yourself. You may feel stuck, be grieving, be struggling with life decisions and/or circumstances; especially in our current climate, and you may be feeling depressed, anxious, stressed or angry. Whatever you are feeling, counselling may help you. Sometimes just having someone to listen to you and offer some useful tools can be so beneficial.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and have specifically trained in a number of different modalities, so that I can support you best. The foundation of my practice is person-centred, which helps me to explore whatever is on your mind and help you feel empowered. I also draw from attachment theory when working creatively and deeply.
Counselling is a unique relationship, like no other. It takes courage to reach out to another, but something deep often takes place in the counselling room. Together we can explore whatever is on your mind and at your pace, you are the expert in your life and I will hopefully help you to draw out what may be hidden.
