Hi I'm Bev thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a trauma informed integrative psychotherapist with a wealth of experience in providing support to adults and young people with a range of difficulties and concerns from relationship difficulties to anxiety, low self-esteem and confidence to trauma, Complex PTSD and PTSD in Warwickshire for 21 years. I hold Accreditation with BACP & have worked in non-for-profit agencies with both adult and child victims of domestic abuse. I believe a combination of talking therapy & EMDR can greatly reduce the distressful & often disabling symptoms caused by trauma.
I am passionate about making a difference and helping people to become the best version of themselves and overcome any difficulties that are preventing them from living their best lives. I work in a collaborative way, fully respecting that you are the expert in your life. My background is Person-centred Therapy but I am also trained in EMDR, GTEP, CBT & DDP.
I believe the relationship with your therapist is really important and that's why I offer a free 30 minute initial session via Zoom or telephone to see if I am the right therapist for you. I work online via Zoom and in person in Warwick/Leamington Spa.
