Reaching out can be hard. Are you feeling overwhelmed? struggling to cope with your situation? your emotions? your experiences? Perhaps you need support through a crisis or you are at the end of your tether with multiple stresses. Even if you have longterm issues that seem stuck, talking to someone can make a difference. You may gain insight into the roots of your difficulties and find qualities in yourself that have never had a chance to develop. The aim is to help you live a more rewarding life.
I have over 20 years experience as Senior Counsellor in the NHS, training and supervising other counsellors, delivering CBT psycho-educational courses and providing EMDR for traumatised people from diverse cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations and religious beliefs. Short or long term work undertaken. Working together we can help you feel better soon!
It can be hard to know where to turn and hard to ask for help when you are in trouble as I know from experience. If you can risk sharing, allow yourself a little time and space with someone trained to support and willing to understand, you may find the strength to get through. You don't have to do things on you own. Lets work on it together.
