I work routinely with Addiction- both with individuals struggling with addictive and compulsive behaviours, but also with family members. I also work with trauma, and am an Advanced EMDR Practitioner and trained in Clinical Sexology. Struggles in relationships can often be a cause to come to therapy and all my training and experience encompasses both communication with others, but more importantly ourselves. My aim as a therapist is to help you work through what fears or beliefs keep you stuck, and bring your attention to what you hope for, identifying how your strengths can help you achieve the goal you are aiming for.
I offer a safe space to work together to understand what is at the heart of the problem and like to engage with you to explore the problem and see new angles and opportunities in what can feel like a challenge. I am also an advanced EMDR practitioner and regularly use this tool set with clients struggling with past issues. I'm trained in clinical sexology.
