I am an attachment based psychotherapist who works in Southwest London. At the heart of attachment therapy lies the consideration of your relational experiences, how they effect your ability to maintain relationships in adult life and how they can effect your ability to live well. Psychotherapy can help you understand yourself better. The role of a psychotherapist is not to tell you what to do, but to provide a different experience of being seen, understood and relating. Psychotherapy provides a confidential space to express yourself and reflect on problems and their underlying causes.
Relational psychotherapy provides a non-judgemental space to explore your history, relationships, work life and goals. My aim is to offer you a safe and secure relationship where painful, difficult or traumatic experiences can be explored, contained and processed in order to help achieve healthier and more fulfilling connections with others.
The idea of starting therapy can seem daunting if you have not engaged in talking therapy before. An initial session allows us to meet and explore how therapy can help. If we decide to continue working together, sessions are at the same time and same day each week and are a minimum of once weekly.
