There are always valid reasons for our difficulties: e.g. anxiety, despair, addiction, isolation, life transitions, anger, grief, trauma, worthlessness, domination, etc,. The counselling process enables us to meet, understand and repair these. It helps us to reclaim and strengthen our true authentic self, perhaps for the first time in a long time or ever. Working in this way with a counsellor allows you to heal in ways that are life enhancing and endure. Whatever causes you fear, harm and/or damage historically and/or now, can actually be harvested to transform your life.
I am an Integrative counsellor. I seek to help you understand and work through difficult, limiting, even destructive situations/relationships you are suffering. A bespoke approach recognizes you as expert in 'you'; I bring expertise in the roots of the struggles and methods to resolve them. We work together towards you becoming your own internal counsellor

Open to Nature
Open to Nature is a series of 6 small group sessions. Practical techniques to enable you to access nature are designed to be easily integrated into daily life at home, indoors and outdoors with lasting benefits. Picturesque Rutland Water Nature Reserve is our main venue. However we are very keen to grow this in other areas too. The groups are led by Catherine Drury, an Integrative Counsellor who draws on the natural world in her practice. Sessions are from £10 per person.
