You may appear capable and in control on the outside, yet inside feel anxious, uncertain, or disconnected from your own voice. You might overthink conversations, struggle to set boundaries, or notice yourself repeating painful relationship patterns without fully understanding why.
Many of the people I work with learned early that being needed, accommodating, or self-reliant was safer than expressing their own needs. Together, we explore these patterns not as flaws to fix, but as intelligent ways you adapted in order to survive and belong. As we begin to understand where they come from, new choices and ways of relating emerge.
My approach is psychodynamic. This means we look at how early experiences and unconscious patterns shape your present life, relationships, and sense of self. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we aim for deeper understanding and lasting change. This can help you feel more confident, assertive, and connected to who you are.
I offer a steady, reflective, and inclusive space where you can speak openly and at your own pace. I welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, and neurotypes, including LGBTQ+ clients. You don’t need to know exactly what you want from therapy—curiosity is enough. If you’d like to explore whether we might work well together, please get in touch.
