Hi, my name is Ben and I am a pluralistic counsellor. Feelings of anxiety, stress and depression can affect how we view the world, bringing about a loss of hope and aspiration. Much of my work has been in helping people find direction and purpose in their lives. My focus is on providing you with the space and conditions to explore your individuality, help you develop a better understanding of yourself and discover what is fulfilling and purposeful for you, whilst finding new ways to process and address the challenges life can bring.
Being a pluralistic counsellor means I am able to use different approaches to work in a way that suits you. Counselling is a collaborative effort, with the direction of travel and the number of sessions adapted to your needs. Your feeling of comfort in this process is a priority, as this will aid in understanding you as an individual and your experiences.
I can appreciate that finding a counsellor can be a daunting and laborious process, with the sheer amount of different options out there and the uncertainty around what counselling can offer.
