My name is Becky and I am a person-centred therapist based in the West Midlands. My way of working is within a person-centred humanistic framework means I aim to walk alongside you, listening with empathy and unconditional acceptance. I work with individuals who are navigating all kinds of experiences, whether it be anxiety, low mood or simply a feeling that something doesn’t feel right at the moment. I aim to work collaboratively with my clients meaning you set the pace. There’s no pressure to know exactly what you need, we can find that out together.
As a British East Asian therapist, I understand how culture and the experiences we inherit can shape the way we see ourselves in ways that are hard to put into words. I specialise in working with navigating self-esteem/identity, relationships and anxiety/depression. I welcome clients from all backgrounds. Whatever feels important to you is what matters.
I believe people don't need to be 'fixed' and that we all have the potential to grow. The first session can be daunting, but I hope to make the space as accessible as possible to allow you to treat our time together as open, honest and supportive.
