I believe in creating a space for you to express what is on your mind and in your heart. In working with me, I hope you will feel seen and heard and develop a deeper understanding of yourself in the world; what you want, what you need and/or what you want to do next. I am an HCPC registered Arts psychotherapist (Dramatherapy) with a BSc in Drama and Psychology. I have experience of working with neurotypical and neurodiverse people (children, young people and adults). I have worked with people with a range of different needs and presentations including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and those exploring their identity/sexuality.
Within my practice, I offer the use of creative materials and drama techniques to facilitate change, emotional growth and to develop greater understanding. This might include using small-world figures/objects, role-play/improvisation, image cards, stories, fabric and material, breathwork and moving/stretching.
I have worked within the NHS (in-patient adult services and CAMHS) and in schools (primary, secondary, college age, independent sector and specialist provisions).
