In our modern society there are so many potential situations where life can become difficult without warning. Some people may have experienced difficulties throughout the whole of their lives, some may have experienced changes to their circumstances that have led to difficulties arising in their teens, 20s, 30s or further into adulthood. Some people may not even have been aware that their circumstances and experiences have led them to a place where they needed help. Whatever a person’s life experiences, everyone deserves an opportunity to heal, develop a stronger sense of self, or just understand themselves better.
I provide face to face counselling in a purpose-built room designed to be a calm & safe space so you feel comfortable sharing your experiences, thoughts & feelings. Although I work with client’s facing many life issues, I specialise in anxiety, depression, historical & recent trauma. I offer humanistic counselling putting my clients at the center of my work.
It’s important to find the right counsellor, whether you have been to therapy before or this is the first time you've looked for a counsellor, you may have questions about what to expect & want to know about how I practice. I'm happy to answer questions by email but I also hold initial phone calls prior to moving to sessions enabling you to speak to me first
