Integrative counselling also refers to the bringing together of the affective, cognitive, behavioural, and physiological systems within a person, with an awareness of the social and transpersonal aspects of the systems surrounding the person. It is a combined approach to therapy.
I trained with Matrix School of Counselling and Psychotherapy, although I am integrative which means I work with a variety of methods to assist clients I lean towards a Humanistic/Psychodynamic approach when working with clients. I like to explore relationships, childhood experiences and working in the moment to create an understanding of a clients situ.
