I offer counselling and support to teens, young adults and struggling parents. Connection is an invaluable resource when supporting young people, yet one of the trickiest issues to navigate as a parent, is the feeling that the close bond you once held with your child, is being challenged as they begin the journey into adulthood. There is hope...this relationship is salvageable with insight into how to adapt to your teen's changing needs.
I work to give young people a trusted adult to explore their feelings alongside, helping to build bridges and understanding between clients and their parents, in order to strengthen communication.
In a world of overwhelm and constant stimulation, it is easy to get bogged down by a negative narrative and the belief that you'll never be good enough. I help to examine patterns of self-sabotage and fear, supporting young people to become resilient and kinder to the themselves in times of difficulty.
