I am an Art Psychotherapist, Artist & Clinical Supervisor with over six years experience in mental health in the NHS with children, adolescent & parents. I have experience & training in psychodynamic, nature & trauma-based approaches. I work with: • anxiety & depression • PTSD • trauma & sexual abuse • relational & attachment difficulties • emotional regulation issues e.g. anger, self-harm • suicidality • somatised emotion/trauma causing pain • cultural differences in understanding wellbeing & mental health • distress occurring with neurodiversity • I am LGBTQIA+ accepting & affirming
I am trained in Art Psychotherapy, trauma interventions, with skills in working with the inner critic. I work holistically, with a person-centred, intersectional and anti-oppressive approach. This means I offer a compassionate, curious space to work on the issues that matter to you, taking into account wider factors if this is relevant to you.
Currently training in EMDR to add to other trauma approaches and knowledge. I am warm and friendly, honest and transparent, and invite you to get in touch if you want support and need a different approach to talking therapies. I offer a free 20 minute consultation.
