As a fully-qualified and experienced counsellor, I take a holistic approach to person centred therapy. I believe firmly in the importance of building up a strong relationship with my clients in order to improve their self-esteem and empower them to make the necessary changes in their lives. Offering a non-judgemental and approachable listening ear, it’s my mission to help those who need it most, especially those who have already had a negative experience of counselling, I practice in a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment.
I work with my clients in a person-centred way, with my clients setting the direction, agenda and purpose for their therapy. I believe it’s important to listen to each client carefully, taking on board their issues so that we can then work together on the best ways to overcome their problems.
I work with clients who are experiencing a broad spectrum of issues from depression and anxiety to addiction. I have worked extensively with addiction sufferers as well as with children, teenagers, young adults and those with learning disabilities, so I have experience across a spectrum of mental health issue's.
