I spent the last decade working with children, teenagers, parents and educational teams, with the mission of supporting children's emotional and educational needs. My specialities are behavioural problems, emotional regulation difficulties, and school-related challenges.
I want to offer children, young people and parents a safe space in which they can feel supported, understood and capable. I want to provide families with the opportunity to feel that although times are hard, there is always someone here to help them get back on track. I found play, art, cards and other creative tools can support the therapeutic process.
One of the ways children gather information about the world and themselves is through the way adults interact with them. For example, positive and supportive communication teaches children that they have someone in their lives who believes in them and keeps them safe. They are, then, more available, more free, to learn and experiment.
