About
I am a first generation Londoner born and raised. I understand that finding somebody to talk to in a safe and confidential environment can be difficult and scary, many people do not have this and feel they are alone with their stresses. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor offering a one to one counselling service in the Kensington and Islington area or online. This can be short or long term depending on your needs and wishes. I am a fully insured and supervised member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and as such work within their Ethical Framework.
I specialise in addictions and anxiety and have extensive experience working with low self esteem . Understanding what happens in our relationship and in the unconscious provides rich content to discover what lies beneath the surface for you. I believe that our early childhood relationships hold keys to how we navigate the world.
I believe it is important to be acknowledged and understood, so, at your pace, I can help you be more self-aware, to understand the feelings that play a big part in who you are and how you behave. I am warm, down to earth, professional, supportive, curious and gently challenging! I won’t just sit there and listen without engaging with you.
