I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist with experience working within the NHS, private and charitable sectors. I offer a safe and confidential space in Birmingham and Coventry where clients are able to explore themselves free from judgement. I have extensive experience working within the field of addiction and have also been working within my own private practice for a number of years where i have enjoyed working with clients that present with a variety of different issues such as anxiety, relationship issues, sex issues, anger issues, personality disorders and also bereavement.
I have been working therapeutically with individuals and groups for 10 years. My experience within this has been focused on many issues such as loss, anxiety, relationships, work related stress, shame, addictions, abandonment and issues of a sexual nature. Currently, I manage a private clinic for adults with addiction issues/Impulse Control Disorders.
I am an integrative therapist with gestalt as my core approach, whilst incorporating attachment theory and psychodynamic perspectives. My approach includes uncovering the influence of past and present situations on current difficulties in order to give clients a better understanding of where their issues may of stemmed from.
