A warm welcome, I am Aynur a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) with over 15 years of experience working in the National Health Service (NHS), alongside the charitable sector providing therapy, clinical supervision for staff and consultation for multi-disciplinary teams. I currently work in a busy inner London community mental health team supporting adults with complex emotional needs.
The space I hold is non-judgemental providing you with time to explore the difficulties you are facing in which we can think together about ways forward in your life. I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches that I am clinically trained in including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR.
Starting therapy can be a daunting experience and finding the right therapy approach and fit for your needs is an important part of the process. I begin by offering an initial assessment where we have the opportunity to co-create the space discuss options available with the approach and what is likely to be helpful in therapy.
