I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Play Therapist and Mental Health Nurse. I have a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings within the NHS in therapist roles. These included child and adolescent mental health teams, and several specialist eating disorders services. I specialise in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, emotional and behavioural problems. As a CBT therapist I aim to help people to identify their unhealthy thoughts and behaviours, and collaboratively work together to challenge these and bring about change

Having spent over a decade working in the health and fitness industry prior to training as a psychologist, I have a particular interest in issues relating to the body, including weight, eating disorders, body dissatisfaction, and pain. I have extensive experience working with people in larger bodies and am an advocate of health at every size and body diversity. I also have a strong interest in LGBTQ+ issues and am experienced in working with clients who struggle with a range of other difficulties including anxiety, depression, loneliness, bereavement and life transitions. I am able to support adults and young people aged sixteen +.

I'm a Clinical Psychologist based in Guildford, providing therapeutic services to young adults and adults aged 16 years and over. I qualified with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2003, and have over twenty years experience supporting and working with adults from a range of diverse backgrounds providing psychological intervention and guidance for a broad spectrum of mental health issues. During my career I have worked mainly in general adult mental health and in addition have specialised in helping people cope with the impact of chronic illness and long-term health conditions.

Paul has a wealth of experience of psychological intervention having worked in various multi-disciplinary work settings including NHS IAPT services (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). Alcohol and Drug misuse services, renowned private residential rehabs and prison. He has also had a successful private practice in Harley Street and in the Home Counties and now works from Guildford and Godalming in Surrey. Paul will use various contemporary research and evidence based therapeutic models including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), MET (Motivational Enhancement Therapy) and Humanistic Person Centred Therapy to help facilitate change and help people with various issues to live more balanced lives.
