About
I offer CBT and Relationship (Couples) Counselling to individuals and couples, delivered with a calm and compassionate focus. My counselling practice is guided by over 20 years of helping people in difficult and often stressful situations. I have worked operationally in the NHS, the Emergency Services, the RNLI and the Armed Forces, as well as teaching in schools and educational establishments. This experience informs my practice, enabling me to provide an accepting and non-judgemental environment to work through the concern, challenge or problem being faced. I can provide counselling both face to face and online.
Seeking support can be a daunting thing to do. I offer a warm, calm and friendly space to work through difficulties which may be limiting your enjoyment of life or relationships. I have significant experience of working with neurodiversity, particularly ADHD, and the challenges that this can bring to decision making, work, relationships and family life.
I have experienced first hand how counselling can help to overcome problems that have persisted for years. My aim is to make this experience possible for others and I am able to support individuals and couples facing a wide variety of issues. If you would like a conversation to see whether I may be able to help you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
