I am a Clinical Psychologist, qualifying from the University of Birmingham in 2012. I have gained a wealth of experience working in both the NHS and private sector. I have worked predominantly with adults, however do have some experience of working with children and families and couples. My own private practice operates on a remote basis through the use of video calls. I work with anyone that is struggling with difficult emotions or direction, including anxiety and depression, chronic stress, intrusive thoughts and ruminating, experience of trauma and PTSD, personality disorders and bipolar disorder. Among other things.
I aim to develop a joint understanding of your journey to where you are today as well as a joint plan of how to move forward, develop new skills and develop the resources and resilience to cope with difficulties. I aim to provide a safe environment to explore these difficulties, develop new ideas and work towards recovery goals that are important to you.
It is so important that you feel comfortable with your therapist in order to work effectively in an open and honest way. I would therefore be happy to offer a 15 minute telephone call at a mutually agreed time, to meet and have a brief chat about what you are looking for and to see if we both feel that we would be a good fit for each other.
