Beginning therapy can be difficult, that’s why I believe in creating a bespoke experience for all my clients to ensure their needs are met within my therapeutic limits. Perhaps you have reached a point where continuing without help has proven to be impossible and affecting your relationship - not only with others but yourself too. Then it’s time to work on gently, compassionately healing those parts that are no longer serving you. If you have experienced: childhood adversity, identity difficulties, migrations and cultural challenges, relationships blocks, then this might be the approach for you.
I am a qualified HCPC registered counselling psychologist. I currently work in the NHS, privately and with charitable organisations. I have over 6 years of experience working with clients. My areas of expertise focuses on personality disorders, chronic difficulties rooted in adverse childhood experiences and identity development through schema lens.
As someone from a minority background in the UK - I have a good awareness of the stigmas, taboos and challenges that some populations can face whilst seeking therapy. I seek to gently incorporate that understanding to the therapy process to ensure that your backgrounds are considered at each phase of the journey.
