Many of my clients are expert copers. People who have been "getting on with it" and "pushing through" all of their lives. They may have lives that look great from the outside, and feel lonely, disconnected and overwhelmed on the inside. Eventually that way of living becomes unsustainable. My clients want some inner peace and calm, connection with others, and freedom and confidence in being themselves. They leave therapy with a greater understanding of their lives, compassion for their struggles, and joy in who they have revealed themselves to be. I love the work - whether its with individuals, couples, triads, or groups.
For almost two decades I have been working with complex and developmental trauma in adults, while training counsellors in integrative modalities. I specialise in perfectionism, anxiety, inner critic and inner child work. I work with distress and "stuckness" holistically, melding the latest neuroscience research with depth psychological enquiry, and hypnosis.
