Hi. I’m Mirek. Some people seek help because they experience a variety of emotional challenges (e.g. depression, anxiety, addictive tendencies, issues within relationships, unhelpful patterns of relating, and they want to feel better. Counselling and psychotherapy can help with it, but most importantly it can help with changing internal landscapes so that we then better understand how we function and have an idea where our troubles come from. Knowing that it is then easier to manage ourselves with anything that live throws at us. There is nothing better than a sense of freedom from old unhealthy patterns of relating!
I work in a client-led way, which means that I do believe that clients are able to hold the steering wheel of the therapeutic conversation with me assisting them in their journey and discoveries, which inevitably happen along the way. This does not mean that I am not active in the process. I am. And I am interested in the influence of the past on today.
