Hi, I'm Dave and I'm a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor. What I aim to provide, is a safe environment for you to explore any area of your life. I offer a free telephone consultation and a free 20 minute initial consultation, this would be to explain what counselling is and the process, commitment and fees involved. Sessions are confidential and the aim being to build a therapeutic relationship that can lead to change. Over the years I have come to recognize connection is so important in our lives, often anxiety, depression, addiction and emotional issues can lead us to disconnect from those around us.
Integrative means I combine different models of counselling to suit your individual needs, counselling is a unique experience and one size doesn't fit all. I'm a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their Ethical Framework. I also practice meditation and breath work and this can be explored within session
I write this advert not just as a counsellor seeking work, but also as a client. 10 years ago I was looking on the internet seeking a counsellor myself, and from this I personally experienced a successful life changing experience due to the process of the therapeutic relationship I received. This journey has continued in to counselling and spirituality.
