Hello, my name is Tara (They/she) & I go by T! I'm an Integrative Art psychotherapist dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized young people and adults. My approach is neuro-affirming with a strong anti-oppressive and trauma informed base. I'm a proud AuDHD, Non-binary, bi and polyamorous therapist. I value the power of lived experience informing best clinical practise; by accessing therapists who can truly see, understand, and affirm us. I work with clients to build relational safety so that we can explore the impact of experiences, on their inner world.
My specialisms include working with neurodivergent children and young adults (Autism, ADHD, LD, ID, FASD+) in neuro-affirming ways, LGBTQIA+ children, adults and families, CYP who have experiences of complex trauma and abuse, Specialized knowledge of children and adults who have left cults/high demand groups
In person sessions, I work within the ages of 7-23, Ages 45+ upwards (Living inside city of Edinburgh). For Online sessions and clients who live outside of City of Edinburgh/Lothian, these ages include 13+ and above with no upper age boundary. I have current availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
