Are you struggling with feeling anxious, low or depressed, uncertain or disconnected? All around us people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and uncertain about how they are supposed to manage their relationships, careers and their lives. You are not alone. Talking about it can really help but perhaps the people you usually talk to are struggling with their own problems or don’t know how to help. I’ve spent 27 years as a therapist listening and helping people find more peace, clarity and joy in life.
Working together we will start with understanding where you are now and the challenges you are facing. We will map your difficulties and successes and plan how to make changes. It might mean learning to set boundaries, working through a loss or trauma, facing a transition or helping you change a pattern of behaviour that is keeping you stuck.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step AND it is often a relief to begin talking to someone. Therapy is a specialised conversation with a highly trained professional. Sometimes it’s difficult and full of mixed feelings. It’s often about accepting ourselves just as we are and practising self-compassion. I will tailor my approach to your unique needs.
