Free 15 min intro chat! Hey, I'm April, and I am a therapist and counsellor practicing online and in person.
I have particular experience in working with women and LGBTQIA+ clients. I work with anxiety, depression, queer issues, stress and trauma.
I am trauma informed, warm and empathetic, and I hope I can help you process what's weighing on you. Whether you're looking to bring about positive change, or work through difficult things from the past, I hope to help you achieve what matters to you.
I provide a warm environment in which clients can feel accepted and safe, and I work to support you in your journey and change. I practice with a combination of techniques from person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches. This could help you process the past, manage the present, set boundaries, or work through difficult decisions.
Maybe things are feeling harder than usual. Or maybe they've always felt hard, and you're thinking it's time to work through it with a therapist. I will learn about your world through your eyes, and support you in unpacking what's happening for you. We can then look at bringing about change when you feel ready.
