As an integrative practitioner with a longstanding background in psychology and neuroscience, I structure therapy around the needs of my client using Humanistic, CBT, ERP and MBCT techniques, in conjunction with psychoeducation and Trauma-informed practice. Centred on a Client-centred approach, I employ a variety of evidence-based treatments to deepen self-awareness, offering clients a proactive involvement in their therapeutic process. My practice is based in New Mills, Derbyshire and virtually, in a confidential, safe and empathic environment.
My practice, as a private practitioner and NHS counsellor, includes clients affected by issues of loss, bereavement, addiction, trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias and OCD. As well as issues of neuroatypical development, such as ASD or specific learning difficulties, and subsequent adulthood issues.
Prior to commencing therapy I always conduct a free introductory screaming session, to better understand my potential client's issues, whilst offering you an opportunity to ensure that I am the right professional for your therapeutic journey.
