About
I offer therapy for couples and individual clients in person and by video or telephone call. ●10 years in Private Practice● NHS experienced●. I am a qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I work with you using a variety of research based approaches to address your issue. Over the years I have helped many different clients explore and reflect on their issue from a different perspective. This has often allowed them to resolve their problem or arrive at an acceptance which they can maintain when therapy finishes.
I have been in private practice for over eight years. My approach to therapy specialises in anger, depression, anxiety and the impact of these in relationship difficulties. Some issues can be addressed in one or two sessions others may last much longer. The length of therapy is determined by you.
Searching for the right therapist can be challenging, especially at a time when you may feel vulnerable or uncertain, perhaps because you are dealing with a crisis. This is very common and the first phone call is often the hardest step to make. Reviews of my practice can found on my website- www.ajjcounselling.co.uk, counselling-directory.org.uk and Google.
