Counselling & Psychotherapy help you overcome life’s problems, improve your well-being & help make positive changes to lead a more fulfilling life. I have over 12 years of working in counselling, psychotherapy & Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and over 25 years registered social work with family's . I offer CBT & counselling for many problems which affect people throughout the course of their lives. I offer help with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma & generational trauma, stress and anger issues, PTSD, insomnia, low self-esteem, self-harm, drug & alcohol issues, complex bereavement and childhood abuse.
My particular area of expertise is in traumatic experiences and how trauma affects our lives. Through evidence based tools recommended by NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) we can work together to place those events into a context in your life and help you to find relief from the symptoms of past trauma.
We all need a little help from time to time, and I offer a skilled, caring, empathic and non-judgemental safe space to enable you to express any challenges and difficulties you may be facing. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to arrange a short phone consultation where we can discuss how to best help you work towards your individual needs and goals.
