I am a very experienced psychotherapist and group analyst, with 25 years experience of working in NHS and private practice. I am analytically trained and will engage with you in a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I have experience of working with stress, low mood, relationship problems, social anxiety, self-esteem, eating problems, trauma, feelings of loss and other issues. Once we have worked together and understood the underlying origins of your problems this can lead to feeling more resilient and to a reduction in your distressing symptoms.

I qualified as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist 25 years ago, and as a Group Analyst 16 years ago.I recently left my post as Consultant Psychotherapist in the NHS, and have a successful private practice offering individual, couples and group psychotherapy. My individual therapy takes place in W10 and my groups takes place in NW3.

I have a new weekend therapy group starting in February 2026, which runs on a monthly basis. Cost per session for individual therapy: £60-£90 depending on frequency and peak times. Cost per session for group therapy: £35-£45 per session, depending on frequency. I hold a limited number of low fee slots for those on a limited budget. Cost per session for couples therapy: £90 - £145.

Do you feel isolated or suffer with social anxiety? Do you sometimes feel excluded in social situations? Do you feel insecure in your relationships? This is a small group of up to eight members in which you can explore and change how you relate to others. The group provides a safe and confidential space which provides a range of perspectives and enables a sense of belonging. I also run a more intensive twice weekly group and would be pleased to provide information if you are interested.

Weekend Therapy Group

This is an analytic therapy group which takes place one weekend a month, for people who live out of London or who can’t attend during weekdays. It runs on Saturdays 3.00pm to 6.30pm, with a break, and Sundays 8.30am to 2.30pm, with 2 breaks. It is open to anyone who wants to work towards greater self understanding and deeper and more satisfying relationships. The fees are £185 per weekend.
