Hi, I have been a Counsellor for 26 yrs and Supervisor for 16 yrs, working with adults and young people. My focus is very much on the client's needs and working at your pace, in a caring and safe way, looking at a wide range of short term, on-going and/or long term issues around trauma, stress, anxiety, phobias etc. which can affect your everyday life. I am also an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, which is known as a tapping tool, that can help you to overcome and let go of negative beliefs, emotions and thought patterns, and reduce anxiety that allows you to feel more relaxed and able to cope with every day life.
Emotional Freedom Technique is commonly referred to as psychological acupressure (the tapping tool). As an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner I can help to release emotional blockages caused by past/present/on-going trauma that lie within your body's energy system that may have led to emotional and physical pain, allowing you to feel more at peace.
I have extensive knowledge of dealing with historical/childhood trauma and can help you to overcome the issues that are still affecting you. I work with young people and adults on trauma-based issues. I am currently only working via video calling, this has been very successful with all my clients and does not deter the psychological process in any way.
