I work in a collaborative and compassionate way with clients. The focus of therapy is to identify and make sense of the problem and contributing factors. Adopting a solution focused approach and developing a unique, person centred treatment plan. I have experience working in both the NHS and private practice since 1995 in a range of clinical settings working with youth and adult populations. I am also a registered mental health nurse. My approach is non judgemental, open and down to earth.
I offer CBT and EMDR, both evidence based practices with proven clinical outcomes for common mental health difficulties. I am registered as a CBT Therapist with the BABCP and an accredited EMDR practitioner. These therapeutic approaches work well in combination as part of a comprehensive therapy intervention.
