I have experience of working with clients who have experienced sexual or emotional abuse. I can offer a safe, supportive space to work through these difficult experiences and find coping strategies. I also work with bereavement, self-esteem, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, and achieving your true potential within a study/work context. As a musician and actor myself, I am also interested in developing creativity within the arts. I offer UK-wide online or telephone sessions and in-person sessions in the Dundee and Angus area. I am also a qualified supervisor and enjoy working with both counsellors and students/trainees.
I work with the Person-Centred Approach, which offers you an open space to talk about whatever is bothering you, without judgement. I can help you to gain clarity and work out the best way forward for you as a unique individual. I also use Emotion Focused Therapy techniques to help with conflicts or dilemmas and to help with the relationships in your life.
I can offer a calm, safe space to explore whatever you feel you want to bring to the session. We then work together to find the best way forward at your own pace. We will review things regularly to ensure you feel the therapy is right for you and that you are getting what you need.
