Hi, I’m Anne. It's nice to meet you. I’m an Integrative Counsellor with over 25 years’ experience supporting people in wellbeing and development roles across higher education, the NHS and in community settings. Everyone’s situation is unique, and no list can ever capture all the reasons someone might come to counselling. The areas below reflect some of the experiences I often support people with. You don’t need to fit neatly into them. If you’re feeling stuck, weighed down, or unsure, we can explore things together and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I have particular experience supporting people through perimenopause and menopause, anxiety, illness (including cancer), grief and loss (including miscarriage), trauma, stress, and life transitions. Counselling with me offers you a calm, present and supportive space to pause, reflect, and find your footing again. I work relationally and am person-centred.
My approach combines warmth, listening, empathy, and evidence-based techniques to help you talk about what matters to you. My aim is for you to feel truly understood through our working relationship. Together, we’ll work towards understanding your emotions, recognising patterns that may be holding you back and help you discover supportive ways to respond.
